What we keep

Very little. Reading the site stores nothing that tells who you are: no account, no cookies, no tracking, no advertising. What is kept is below.

When you write to us

The contact form keeps your name, email address, subject and message, to answer you, and the address you wrote from (IP) and your browser's name, to keep spam out. It is stored on our own server and read only by us. We do not share it, sell it or use it for anything else.

The address and browser are deleted after 30 days. A message is deleted 12 months after we have dealt with it, or at once when you ask. We keep it because you asked us something and we want to answer (our legitimate interest in answering, and in keeping the form free of spam).

Cookies

The pages you read set no cookies. The contact page sets two that are needed for the form to work (a session and a security token against forged submissions); both expire within two hours. There are no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies.

Stored in your browser

Race to the Major remembers whether you turned the stage lines off, in your own browser only. Nothing of it is sent to us.

Counting readers

To know how many read the site, our own server counts the pages read each day, the readers each day, and the site a reader came from (its name only, such as google.com). A reader is told apart for that one day by a scrambled code made from the address they came from (IP) with its last part cut off, so it points to a network and not to one address, and their browser's name, under a key that is new every day. Just after midnight the codes and the key are deleted, so what is kept are numbers, and no one can be recognised or followed from one day to the next. The server's backups may hold a day's codes until the backups themselves expire. Nothing is stored in your browser and nothing is sent to anyone else. We count because we want to know whether the site is read (our legitimate interest).

Server logs

Like every web host, ours logs each request (the address it came from, the page and the time) to keep the site running and safe. We use those logs for nothing else.

Nothing from others

The fonts and every script are served from this site. No page loads anything from Google, social networks or advertisers.

Teams and players

The site shows teams, results and professional players' public nicknames as Valve, bo3.gg and Liquipedia publish them. If something about you is wrong or should not be here, tell us through the contact form.

Your rights

Fragcharts is run privately from Denmark, and is responsible for what is kept here. You may ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to it: write through the contact form with "Privacy request" in the subject. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).
